1998 WITHER HILLS Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough,
Classic
Sauvi bouquet of spicy green apple, quince and gooseberry, albeit
restrained. Tart lemon and green apple dominate the palate,
eventually yielding to notes of nectarine and peach. While it
finishes nicely, it lacks complexity, so we give it two glasses.
